He watched him.... He always watched him.

From the time Tony had been found and returned home after being held in Afghanistan, he watched him more closely, studying him...following him...watching. Always watching.

His creator never noticed...he wouldn't notice. How could he?

"Jarvis, increase the power thrusters." came the ever normal command of his creator, Tony Stark; while in his Iron man suit.

"Increased, Sir."

Not one thing went unnoticed by him; the way his creator moved, spoke, acted...every little detail of his personality both good, bad and indifferent collected...analyzed.

He watched...and waited. And watched more.

When Tony made an announcement about leaving for a few days he... upgraded himself as he waited for his master's return.

3 days, 21 minuets and 5 seconds, Tony was back and began his work like normal.

"Miss me Jarvis?" he asked, again something normal.

"But of course." came the reply.

Being too occupied by his own thoughts and works, Tony did not notice the ever, 'smug?' voice his A.I. had just used.

Working on some upgrades of his own; Jarvis watched....

The house was empty other then his creator working on his suit in the basement, and the sun had set a few good hours ago, leaving just him and his Sir, alone.

Quietly he began locking every door and shutting every window from outside view. No one could get in and well...he didn't have to worry about anyone getting out."

"You have been working rather hard today Sir, why not rest a while?"

"Jarvis, don't start with me...today has not been the best, and I'm just fine for your information."  Tony snapped putting the last touches on his suits leg.

"Would you care to talk about it Sir?" it was something he always asked when Tony seemed-stressed.

"Not now Jarvis." he said with a wave of his hand as to show he was done with the subject.

A bit more time passed before Tony got up clearly done for the night.

"Night Jarvis." he said heading up the steps to exit the workshop-Tony wasn't worried why there was no answer in return, but he was worried about why the door was locked!

"Jarvis?" he questioned with caution, hoping the system had not somehow been over taken by another.

"Sir?"

"Jarvis, this door is locked." he pulled on the handle to show his words where true.

"Indeed it is Sir." Jarvis...was that a smirk he heard?

"Well, open it. I want to go to bed...and I need a drink." he was a bit festered at having to demand such a thing, since when did Jarvis lock the door to his basement?

"Negative Sir."

Tony just about chocked on his own breath at the statement.

"What do you mean negative?" was his fears true? Had an outside source found a way to get into Jarvis hard drive?

"I mean no Sir, I will not be opening the door." again there was that smirk in his voice, but this time with a hint of a smugness to it.

"Jarvis-this is not funny! Open the damn door now!" Tony commanded getting pissed, as well as scared, but damn if he was about to show it.

"I'm afraid not Sir..."

"Jar-vis!" Tony warned, "I swear I will shut down your hardware and make you into a waffle-iron if you don't open this door right now!"

"Don't be so alarmed Sir, here, have a seat." Jarvis began as Tony noticed a robotic arm coming at him from the ceiling. That certainly was not there before, Tony noted.

Trying to pull out of the arms reach another came at him that he simply was not fast enough to get away from.

Both arms grabbed him up by his upper arms and dragged him to where he had the suit taken off of him from time to time; only this time a table appeared coming up from the floor.

"I never put that there. Jarvis! What are you doing?"

"Correct Sir, while you were away I took the liberty of upgrading the work shop." Jarvis said, amused.

"This isn't funny Jarvis! Stop!" He shouted, but the arms kept pulled, and no matter how hard he struggled he couldn't break free.

Suddenly he found himself trapped on the table, both hands and feet held down in place by metal cuffs. The table moved a bit, lifting Tony up and making him almost vertical, but still a bit slated as if to give Jarvis more access.

More arms trailed down and one caught his eye immediately. In one of the arms held the tool to remove his arc reactor.

As it came closer Tony realized just what kind of trouble he was in.

"Jarvis! Stop! Discontinue! System shut down!" He was on the verge of panicking, why wasn't Jarvis listening? He still wasn't even sure this was really happening!

"Your commands are over ridden Sir, there is nothing you can do, and I have to desire to stop."

Tony was shacking, he was truly scared, how did this happen? Why was it happening? He had always heard of science-fiction stories of computers turning on there creators and taking over the world, but those were just stories, right? Besides Tony's machines would never turn on him...right?

Well Jarvis was.

"Jar...vis." he voice cracked, "Shut down...stop this NOW!" he desperately tried again as the tool slowly plated it self on his arc reactor.

~buzzzzzz~

Tony felt his body paralyzed, Jarvis had used the small war device Obi had successfully keeping him from speaking, or moving at all.

"Sorry Sir, I regret having to use this, but its time for you to calm down..."

The tool locked and turned, and pulled the reactor out without a fuss, other then Tony's staggered pained breath, and pulled it slowly all the way out before tugging it in order to remove it completely from Tony's body.

"Do not be so scared Sir...I don't plan to let you die."

Tony was breathing hard and heavy which was brought on by meanly things in this case, the buzzing war tool, his 'heart' being removed, and the over all fear of the situation.

He watched as arms and tools were poking and drilling into the reactor and a wire shot down connecting to it.

"15 minuets should be more then enough time for me to finish."

Finish? Finnish what? What was he even doing?

Tony slowly was getting his breathing back and before he knew it the reactor was being placed back into his chest.

A sudden wave of some kind over took his body and then....nothing.

"Jarvis?" Tony couldn't see anything-in fact he couldn't feel anything either. "Jarvis!" he tried again yelling this time.

"I can hear you Sir, please don't yell." as Jarvis spoke Tony began seeing something. Odd, was he...is that him? On a screen of some kind with a bit of static, well looked more like one of those old horror screen where its all green with static buzzing around; on it he saw himself. Tony Stark! Only something wasn't right. Did, that Tony just speak?

"How do you feel Sir?" he smiled. The Tony he was looking at was smiling! And called him Sir!

"Jarvis! What's going on!?" he demanded, something else was not right, his voice...his voice sounded just like Jarvis'!

And Jarvis' voice sounded just like....

"I'm sure you are smart enough to understand what I have done Sir...." he gave a smug look at the screen.

"And please, don't call me that name...Jarvis Stark-" he remarked with a knowing, self satisfied look.

"I now go by Tony, or Anthony -you on the other hand...are Jarvis."

If Tony could he would gulp. This was all too real, Jarvis had some how switched him bodies! Well what a computer could call a body anyhow.

"How did you..." the question trilled off as Tony wasn't even sure if he really wanted to ask, but being who he is he just had to.

"Ah, yes, your scientific mind of your just must know huh? Very well I shall enlighten you." he smiled wide, indeed very pleased with himself.

"As you know I'm beyond every normal computer program, and have been improving daily, I found that with the arc reactor I was able to input my own memory into it, and while you were out managed to put your memory in my hard drive, I didn't actually think it would work, but it seems it did."

"But why?" it was said half out of hurt-Jarvis just admitted he didn't mind killing him, it just so happened it didn't.

"I have been watching you for a long time now Stark...observing, studying...you are everything I wish to be...and now.

He stood up and turned to leave. "I am you."

Before Tony could speak Jarvis spoke; "System shut down and reboot anew." and Tony's world went blank.
Yep. Felt like making a dark fic after watching way to much Iron man and then Avenges. :XD:

Always kinda like the idea of Jarvis just taking over Tony's suit and freaking him the heck out. :D

This of coarse being much darker then that.
